The Delegation of the European Commission Commend Progress of the Infrastructure Project O-ZIP

A European Commission delegation led by Aida Liha Matejiček, Head of Unit for Cohesion Policy in Croatia and Romania, visited the Ruđer Bošković Institute (RBI) in Zagreb to assess the progress of the major infrastructure project, the Open Scientific Infrastructural Platforms for Innovative Applications in the Economy and Society (O-ZIP).

Ministar regionalnoga razvoja i fondova Europske unije posjetio je Institut Ruđer Bošković (IRB) te u pratnji ravnatelja Davida M. Smitha, pomoćnica ravnatelja dr. sc. Ivanke Jerić, dr. sc. Marijete Kralj,  pomoćnika ravnatelja dr. sc. Vilka Smrečkog i predsjednice Znanstvenog vijeća dr. sc. Ivančice Bogdanović Radović te suradnika obišao građevinske radove u okviru projekta Otvorene znanstvene infrastrukturne platforme za inovativne primjene u gospodarstvu i društvu (O-ZIP).

U sklopu posjeta Institutu Ruđer Bošković (IRB), predsjednik Vlade Republike Hrvatske Andrej Plenković sastao se s ravnateljem IRB-a Davidom M. Smithom te obišao objekte u izgradnji u okviru projekta Otvorene znanstvene infrastrukturne platforme za inovativne primjene u gospodarstvu i društvu (O-ZIP) te tri obnovljena objekta oštećena u potresu.

Napredak infrastrukturnih radova na IRB-u

U zadnja tri mjeseca na Institut Ruđer Bošković, u sklopu kapitalnog projekta OZIP, dogodile su se značajne promjene i napredak u infrastrukturnim radovima. Od montaže ventilirane fasade do izgradnje čeličnih konstrukcija, niže je detaljan pregleda izvršenih radova na različitim objektima.

The RBI Capital Project Worth 72m EUR Goes On

The Government of the Republic of Croatia has adopted the proposal issued by the Ministry of Science and Education (MSE) on increasing the allocation for the project 'Open Scientific Infrastructural Platforms for Innovative Applications in the Economy and Society' (O-ZIP), the capital structural project of the Ruđer Bošković Institute (RBI). The financing of the 72 million euro worth project is foreseen within the European Commission's Operational Program 'Competitiveness and Cohesion' for the financial period 2014-2020 (OPCC).

RBI Signs Contract for the implementation of construction works within O-ZIP project

The Ruđer Bošković Institute (RBI) signed a contract with Lavčević d.d. and Lavčević inženjering d.o.o. for the implementation of construction works within the framework of the structural project Open Scientific Infrastructure Platform for Innovative Applications in Economy and Society (O-ZIP).

New Transmission Electron Microscope at RBI

As part of the project 'Open Scientific Infrastructure Platforms for Innovative Applications in Economy and Society' (O- ZIP), the Ruđer Bošković Institute (IRB) in Zagreb has acquired and put into operation an impressive transmission electron microscope, the JEM -1400 Flash. This high-tech device worth EUR 600,000.00 is the latest achievement in the field of scientific research and equipment in the Republic of Croatia.

RBI Director visits Construction Site of Martinska Research Station

Dr David M. Smith, the Director of the Ruđer Bošković Institute (IRB), and Dr Ivanka Jerić, Deputy Director and Project Coordinator for O- ZIP, today visited the construction site of the Martinska Research Station, accompanied by the Project Construction Manager, Mr Damir Ivšić, and representatives of the team of consultants led by Mr Nino Kovačić.

Renovation of the Martinska Research Station is on the Right Track

Significant progress has been made in the renovation of the Martinska Research Station, a key component of the O-ZIP project to strengthen capacity and promote sustainable development and management of the Adriatic karst coastal area, in line with both national legislation and EU directives.
